Răzvan Lucescu is getting closer to a new challenge in his career, coming to the bench of Al-Sadd, one of the most important teams in Qatar.
The club from Doha was recently left without a coach, after parting with Roberto Mancini, and the management immediately accelerated the search for a replacement, the main choice being the Romanian technician.
In parallel, the negotiations between Al-Sadd and PAOK Thessaloniki have progressed, the two clubs reaching a financial agreement by which the Qatari team will pay an amount below the level of the two million euro clause, valid for the coach in case of leaving Europe.
