Chelutu’s death continues to affect him, and Dorian Popa has spoken openly about how he handles the loss. He said that he planted a magnolia in the yard, in the place dedicated to the quadruped, and the tree became a symbol of his memory. “Chelutu remained in our souls! I am very happy that the magnolia tree I planted in the yard, where his nest is, is growing tremendously and is constantly blooming and has leaves that are getting healthier and greener and more beautiful! Our boy is still in our hearts!” he confessed.

The artist says that the pain has not disappeared, but over time it is accompanied by beautiful memories. “It still causes us pain, but I understand from other four-legged owners that the pain will never go away, it will just be accompanied by many more sweet memories,” he explained.

The singer admitted that the moments when he performs the songs dedicated to Chelutu are still full of emotion: “It’s hard when I sing the songs about Chelutu at concerts, but it’s also nice that at the same time it moves me very much, to the point of tears”, added Dorian Popa.
