On Thursday, July 9, the band VAMA released the song “Caderea mea”, a song about emotional addiction and the “freezing” of the end of a relationship that still cannot be broken.
“We’ve been working on this piece for a long time and it brought out white hairs. It went through several versions, through several directions and through several attempts until it found its final form. I originally wrote it for one of my former contestants from Vocea României, but it didn’t suit her.
Then we took it back and tried a pop duet, then a more rock duet. Finally, we’re back to what we do best: a rock song our way.
It has maybe something from the Placebo area, maybe something from Kings of Leon, but in the end it became very CUSTOMS”said Tudor Chirilă, according to PRO TV.
Ioana Bugarin, Odeon Theater actress and film actress (Hamburgo, Miracol, Mia misses her revenge) is Tudor Chirilă’s partner in the video that describes a bizarre relationship, an emotional back and forth of people who don’t find each other, but are still looking for each other.
“My Fall” will be heard live for the first time on July 25, at the Roman Arenas in the VAMA 20 years show.
Vama is a Romanian pop-rock band, founded in 2006, following the breakup of the Vama Veche band. The band’s first album was released in 2008 and bears the same name as the band.
The band was founded by Tudor Chirilă and Eugen Caminschi, the vocalist and guitarist of the Vama Veche band, who were joined by Lucian Cioargă (drums), Dan Opriș (bass) and Raul Kusak (keyboards), the latter being replaced in 2009 by Gelu Ionescu. In 2007, the first single appeared – “Bed for love”.
