The Ministry of Education published, on Tuesday, the statistics of the marks obtained in this year’s Baccalaureate exam, which show which subject received the most 10 marks, but also where the students had the most problems.
According to the data published by the Ministry of Education, 3,548 marks out of 10 were recorded in the mandatory test of the BAC 2026 profile. Of these, 2,289 maximum marks were in Mathematics and 1,259 marks out of ten in History.
Then, 3,158 marks out of 10 were awarded in the BAC 2026 profile and specialization test. Students got the most maximum marks in the BAC exam in Logic, Biology, Chemistry and Computer Science.
Also, 454 marks of 10 were obtained in Romanian Language and Literature, while 34 were recorded in Mother Language and Literature.
The Ministry of Education reminds that appeal requests can be submitted/transmitted today, July 7, between 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., respectively on July 8 and 9.
Candidates can request to view their paper(s) after the initial results are displayed, in the same interval mentioned above for filing appeals, in accordance with the provisions of the procedure established by the National Baccalaureate Commission.
When viewing the work/works, the minor candidate must be accompanied by a parent/legal representative.
Candidates contesting the initial assessment result must complete, sign and submit/send by electronic means a standard declaration stating that they are aware that the mark awarded as a result of the resolution of the appeal may change, as the case may be, the initial mark by increasing or decreasing it.
The communication of the results is done anonymously, using the individual codes that replace the names and surnames of the candidates. These codes were distributed, on a signature receipt basis, at the first test they took.
The final results (after resolving the appeals) will be displayed on July 13, 2026.
According to the results obtained before the appeals, the pass rate before the resolution of the appeals is 74.8%, increasing compared to the first session last year, when the pass rate was 74.3%.
Nationally, 45 candidates completed the exam with an overall average of 10, and most graduates, 16,217, achieved averages between 9.00 and 9.49. Also, 4,685 candidates did not appear for the exam, and 67 were eliminated for non-compliance with the regulations.
