Mihaela Rădulescu made a painful confession one year after the death of her life partner, Felix Baumgartner. The TV presenter talked about how much her life has changed in the past year.
Mihaela Rădulescu shared online some thoughts about her son’s birthday and her own birthday, making a comparison between the dramatic moments experienced last year and the present.
“What a difference a year makes… For my son’s birthday last year I had Felix’s funeral. For my birthday last year I took his ashes in a box… But this year, I wore a smile, a long black dress and so much love and gratitude for the amazing people around me”wrote Mihaela Rădulescu on Instagram.
In the same post, Mihaela Rădulescu dedicated a few emotional lines to her son, whom she thanked for her unconditional support during the period when she needed her family the most.
“Happy birthday my little boy, my heartbeat forever. I think I raised you right, because I had your strongest support when I really needed it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to each and every one of you who send me a hug from any distance, a word, flowers, the best wishes”the presenter said.
She thanked everyone who has been close to her over the past few months and spoke about both the importance of true friends and the power of women to support each other.
“Cheers to all the strong women out there, to all the women ready to support and lift up other women, to all the true friends we make and keep, to all of you who were so nice to me when I was too down and too lost. I hope I’ll always be there for you. Celebrate life, every second of it, and fuck all the fake and deceitful people in your life. That’s how we thrive, not just survive.”concluded Mihaela Rădulescu.
Felix Baumgartner was one of the most famous athletes in the field of aviation and extreme sports. He and Mihaela Rădulescu were a couple for almost 11 years. The Austrian athlete died on July 17, aged 56, in a paragliding accident in Porto Sant’Elpidio, on the Adriatic coast, in Italy.
At the time of the tragedy, Felix Baumgartner was on vacation with Mihaela Rădulescu. The accident occurred while the athlete was paragliding.
