The high school graduates who chose Physics in the profile and specialization test, held on Thursday, July 2, received topics that the teachers consider approachable and well-constructed.
According to teacher Carmen Hîrnea, the difficulty of the exam was similar to that of the previous year, and the students who prepared constantly during the year should not encounter major problems.
The only moment that created difficulty was a trap exercise in the last subsection of the electrical section, but overall the test was fair and accessible to all candidates who put in a minimum of effort.

An accessible exam for students who have constantly prepared
Professor Carmen Hîrnea provided a first evaluation of the subjects, emphasizing that the degree of difficulty is comparable to that of last year and that there were no major surprises for the candidates.
The differences between the theoretical and technological profiles were minor, and the technological students benefited from slightly easier questions, which balanced the chances of success for all participants.
“Students who have struggled throughout the year to solve model subjects should not have any problems. The difficulty is similar to last year. Between the theoretical and technological profiles, the problems are quite similar in appearance, but the technological ones had slightly easier questions”explained the teacher, for “The Truth” confirming that the structure and content of the exam were consistent with student expectations and the school curriculum.
The electricity trap, the only moment of difficulty
The only element that created confusion among candidates was, according to the teacher, an exercise in the last subsection of the electricity section, where students needed more attention and a deeper understanding of the studied physical phenomena.
Baccalaureate 2026. Scales and subjects for the third written test, published by the Ministry of Education
The teacher stated that, from discussions with her students, it emerged that many encountered difficulties there, some of them not being able to identify the correct solution.
“It was a trap exercise that gave them more problems, on one last sub-point of the electricity part. From what I’ve talked to my students, they had a little trouble there, some didn’t get it. But otherwise, the exam was very accessible”explained the teacher.
Teacher Carmen Hîrnea is optimistic about her students’ results, estimating that most of them expect grades above 8
“Among my students, they all expect grades above 8, that’s why I think it was an exam that any student could pass with minimal effort”concluded the teacher, for “The Truth”.
Baccalaureate 2026: What follows after Thursday’s test. Calendar of appeals and display of results
For most candidates, the series of written tests ended on Thursday, with the testing of the chosen discipline.
An exception is made for students who belong to national minorities, who will take the written test in their native language and literature on Friday, July 3.
The next essential stage for all graduates is the display of initial results, scheduled for Tuesday 7 July by 12:00.
On the same day, between 14:00 and 18:00, the window opens for viewing the works and submitting appeals, a process that continues on July 8 and 9.
The Ministry of Education has established that viewing the papers is strictly informative and does not involve correcting them, and minor candidates must be accompanied by a parent or legal representative.
The appeals submitted by the candidates will be resolved between July 9-10, and the final results of the 2026 Baccalaureate exam will be published on July 13.
The communication of the results, regardless of the stage, is done anonymously, using the individual codes that replace the names and surnames of the candidates, according to the legal provisions on the protection of personal data.
To be declared “successful”a high school graduate must cumulatively fulfill three essential conditions: pass all language and digital skills assessment tests, obtain at least a grade of 5 in each written test, and have an overall average of at least 6 in the written tests.
Candidates who do not meet these requirements are declared “rejected” and can participate in the second session of the Baccalaureate, scheduled between July and August 2026.
In order to support the smooth conduct of the exam, the Ministry of Education and Research makes available to candidates and parents the TELVERDE line 0800801100, intended for reporting any malfunctions regarding the organization and conduct of the exam.
On the days of the written tests, the line is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the exception of Friday 3 July, when the operating hours were from 8:00am to 2:00pm.
This measure provides an official channel of communication for any logistics or compliance issues, thus ensuring a transparent and fair process for all applicants.
