Baccalaureate 2026. Students take the test in Mathematics or History on Wednesday, one day later than the original calendar

The 2026 Baccalaureate exam continues on Wednesday with the mandatory written test of the profile, postponed due to the heat wave. Students from Real take the Mathematics exam, and those from the Humanities take the History exam. Candidates are expected at the examination centers with the necessary identity documents and writing instruments, on a day when the thermometers will once again indicate high temperatures. The test starts at 9:00 a.m. in all exam centers, and access to the halls is allowed until 8:30 a.m.

To participate in the written tests, students must have a valid ID on them, which is checked at the entrance. ID card, temporary ID card or passport are accepted in special cases.

Without a valid document, the candidate cannot enter the examination hall. As for the writing materials, the rules are strict: students can only use blue ballpoint pen, pencil, eraser and transparent ruler, and the writing of the papers is done exclusively with blue ink.

Prohibited items: phones, backpacks and assistive materials

The rules for organizing the Baccalaureate categorically prohibit the introduction of any objects that are not strictly necessary into the examination room. Thus, satchels, rucksacks, bags and purses must be left in the specially designed storage room, and refusal to store them will result in failure to take the exam. Cell phones, headphones, IoT devices, and any other electronic means that could be used to solve topics are also prohibited. Aids such as manuals, notes, handouts, dictionaries or calculators are also prohibited, as is any form of communication between candidates, copying or sharing of information.

Violation of the rules is considered attempted fraud and attracts severe penalties. Candidates caught with prohibited objects, even if they do not use them, are removed from the exam, and the marks obtained in the tests passed before the removal, including those from the skills tests, are no longer recognized. Moreover, they no longer have the right to participate in the next two sessions of the exam, with the exception of the special session. Before the start of the test, the assistants present the rules to the candidates, and they sign a report confirming that they have read them.

All exam rooms are audio-video monitored and candidates who wish to leave the room before the time is up can hand in the paper but do not get the subjects back. At the end of the test, all papers are evaluated by teachers according to the official scales. Also, any behavior that disrupts the normal conduct of the exam or failure to follow invigilators’ instructions may result in removal regardless of the circumstances.

The structure of the written tests at Baccalaureate 2026

The national baccalaureate exam in the June-July 2026 session includes four written tests, each with a specific weight in the final average.

Finally, the Ed test – the test for choosing the profile and specialization – can be taken in subjects such as physics, chemistry, biology, computer science, geography, logic, psychology, economics, sociology or philosophy.
