Romanians are called, on Sunday, December 1, 2024, to vote to elect their representatives in the Parliament, the institution that will dictate the legislative direction of the country for the next four years.

Voting for the 2024 parliamentary elections can be exercised between 07:00 and 21:00. Outside the borders, Romanians can vote on two days – on November 30 and December 1 – between 07:00 and 21:00, local time.
What are the pro-European and anti-European parties from the parliamentary elections
Pro-European parties. PSD has the most candidates for the Senate and Chamber of Deputies, no less than 639, followed by PNL-630 candidates, Forța Dreptei-619, UDMR-596, USR-589, the Independent Social Democratic Party – 477, the Romania in Action Party – 424, United Social Democratic Party – 329, REPER – 273, Justice and Respect in Europe for All (REPT)- 263, National Christian Alliance – 244, Romanian Ecologist Party – 128, Health Education Nature Sustainability (SENS) – 100, New Romania Party – 73, National Action League – 64, Green Party – 10, Geto-Dacian Union – 8, Fatherland Party – 7, Justice Party – 4, United Pensioners Party – 1 and Phralipe Party of the Roma – 1.
At SENS, one of the best-known members is Nicu Ștefănuță, vice-president in the European Parliament. At REPER, among the best-known candidates are former MEPs Ramona Strugariu and Dragoș Pîslaru. Former MEP Vlad Gheorghe opens the list of the DREPT party in Bucharest for the Chamber of Deputies, while deputy Cosette Chichirău (elected in 2020 on the USR lists) opens the list in Iași. Former journalist Sanda Nicola opens the list of candidates for the Chamber of Deputies in the Capital for the Romania in Action Party.
Anti-European parties. SOS Romania has the most candidates in total -636, followed by AUR – 621, the Romanian National Conservative Party – 435, Socialist Romania – 333, the Alternative for National Dignity – 294, the Patriots of the Romanian People – 172, the Young People’s Party (POT) – 149, the Republican Party of Romania – 25, the Party of Faithful People – 14, the Party National Peasant Christian Democrat-10.
Where do we go to vote?
Voters vote at the polling station to which they are assigned. If they are in another locality within the same electoral district, voters can exercise their right at any polling station within the electoral district where they have their domicile or residence.

Complaints
Expert Forum, a member organization of the Vot Corect Coalition, organizes an information and electoral assistance center for the December 1 parliamentary elections. Through it, electoral experts and lawyers will answer the most frequent questions related to voting days and provide assistance for reporting irregularities. The Call Center will be active on Sunday, December 1, between 7-10 p.m. – Romanian time.
How many Romanians can vote?
According to the Permanent Electoral Authority (AEP) the total number of voters registered in the permanent electoral lists is 18,008,555 of citizens.
The total number of Romanian voters abroad who opted for postal voting by registering on the votstrainatate.ro website and registered in the permanent electoral lists abroad for postal voting is 6,656 citizens.
And the total number of Romanian voters abroad who opted to vote at the polling station by registering on the votstrainatate.ro website and are registered in the permanent electoral lists abroad is 5,864 citizens.
