The artistic concept is coordinated by Răzvan Dincă, one of the important names of Romanian culture, with solid experience in opera, operetta, musical and dramatic theater.
Răzvan Dincă says that, when work began at NIBIRU, the team started from “a blank sheet of paper”, on which something that “has never happened before” had to be built. In his vision, the project was not thought of as a classic festival, nor as a single show or a simple concert, but as a complex experience that would combine several artistic languages and create a direct relationship between the stage and the audience. This approach transforms the performances within NIBIRU into participatory experiences.
Director of opera, operetta, musicals and dramatic theater, Răzvan Dincă has signed some of the most famous public productions in Romania in recent years, among which The Phantom of the Opera at the Bucharest National Opera, Shrek and Mamma Mia. His experience in performances with great addressability and strong emotional impact is reflected in the direction he now proposes at NIBIRU: an artistic product that conveys emotion, but also collective energy, in a framework built for the general public.
As part of NIBIRU, the Romanian artists announced on Center Stage will perform concerts integrated into unique stage productions, developed especially for this project together with Răzvan Dincă.
The story, scenography and artistic moments were developed together, each performance being built around the personality and artistic identity of the performer. The concept is customized for each artist and made exclusively for NIBIRU, offering the audience an experience not found in regular tours. Performances will begin on the boardwalk and continue on Center Stage. Here you will see Mario, Smiley, Delia, Theo Rose, Carla’s Dreams, Antonia, Alina Eremia, Holy Molly, Emaa, INNA, Irina Rimes, Rareș, The Motans, Alex Velea, Adi Istrate, Andrei Bănuță, Puya, Minelli, Florian Rus, AMI, Liviu Teodorescu, Lazy Ed, Iraida, Alessandra, Misha Miller, Lidia Buble and Andrei Ursu.
The concept is thought of as a unified artistic route, connecting the promenade to Center Stage, with the same artists and the same creative direction. The names of the evenings cover this entire journey, from the promenade to the concert on stage, through seven distinct thematic universes:Circus of WondersThursday; Neon AsiaFriday; Velvet CabaretSaturday; Barrio CarnavalSunday; Summer Disco LoveMonday; American Soul SystemTuesday; Worlds of Nibiruon Wednesday.

the NIBIRU season runs for 46 days, and the seven show concepts return every week, each with its own theme, scenography and artistic identity. Each evening offers a different experience and creates a new reason to return throughout the summer.
The whole concept is built around the idea that summer is lived together. Families, groups of friends and visitors who arrive alone share the same energy, the same spaces and the same moments, becoming part of the atmosphere of each evening. Performances begin on the boardwalk, continue on Center Stage, and transform the audience from spectator to active participant in the experience.
NIBIRU is a new resort on the Romanian coast, built as an ecosystem of culture, music, gastronomy, retail, sports and art. The performances coordinated by Răzvan Dincă become one of the central pieces of a format that puts creativity, participation, emotion and audience diversity in the foreground.
