The statement was signed during an election debate that was organized on Monday evening by Antena 3. The PNL candidate for the presidential elections was asked if and when he intends to rid the country of PSD, starting from the campaign rhetoric.
“The first time on November 24th, the second time happens on December 1st and finalizes everything on December 8th,” replied Nicolae Ciucă, who added that there is no longer any possibility of an alliance with PSD.
“We will no longer be in government with the PSD. And, if you want, now, I sign you that, under my leadership, the National Liberal Party will not enter into government with the Social Democratic Party. It is not healthy for democracy!”said Nicolae Ciucă.
The paper was completed and signed live.
“PNL under my leadership will not form a government with PSD”, wrote Nicolae Ciucă on the paper which later remained with the organizers of the electoral debate.
