Nicușor Dan won the second round of the presidential elections. He managed to get victory with 53.60%, ie over 6 million voters, about 4 million votes than in the first round. Instead, George Simion obtained 46.40%, being voted by over 5 million Romanians. The difference between the two candidates was almost 830,000 votes.

Over 11.6 million Romanians voted on Sunday, May 18, to choose their president for the next five years.
