Professors from the faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy will fill positions in hospitals through competition or examination. The project is under discussion

Teaching staff from the faculties of Medicine and Pharmacy will occupy positions in hospitals and public health institutions through competition or examination, according to a draft order that updates the methodology for occupying positions through clinical integration for medical-pharmaceutical teaching staff.

The Minister of Health, Alexandru Rogobete, announced that on Tuesday the draft order updating the methodology for filling positions through clinical integration for medical-pharmaceutical teaching staff was made transparent on the website of the Ministry of Health.

Until now, these positions were held without an exam or competition, writes Mediafax.

“I believe it is fair and fair to all medical staff to have clear, uniform and transparent rules, valid for all. What changes concretely? We explicitly establish how teaching staff can occupy, through competition or examination, positions in hospitals and public health institutions (positions already provided for in the structures), we define the hiring conditions and what clinical integration means, we clarify the responsibilities of universities and health units, we introduce a clear calendar of competitions/exams, we establish the composition of the commissions and the evaluation criteria, we regulate transparency, conflict of interests, data protection and special situations (suspension, resumption, transfer). I know that sometimes there is resistance, but through collaboration and correct communication things get meaning and nuance”said Alexandru Rogobete.
