Special baccalaureate 2026: More difficult subjects in Mathematics, for students who are late. The fallback tested more knowledge

Denisa Tănăsescu, mathematics teacher at IL Caragiale College, reported for “The Truth” that the reserve subjects, given to students who were late due to weather conditions, were slightly more difficult than the version drawn for candidates who took the morning exam.

“The morning exam seemed to be a bit milder for the Mate-Info students. For example, the function from the 3rd subject, exercise 1, had a radical and a logarithm in its composition. So more knowledge was tested than in the morning, when they only had to solve a rational function, without any degree of difficulty, that is, a child with grade 5 could easily solve it.

Otherwise, the same applies, points c) from subjects II and III make the difference between good students and those who want more than 9. Even if the degree of difficulty is a little higher, no one would have reasons to complain, because we are not talking about a difference that would justify fears. After all, after the pandemic, there were many variations that they could train on, which contained all the types of topics that they could expect. So they definitely had benchmarks and overall the exam was balanced”the teacher reported.
