“It was decided to establish the first clinical pharmacy by bringing the clinical pharmacist into the multidisciplinary team. In this context, Vasile Barbu, the president of the National Association for Patient Protection, congratulated the Marius Nasta Institute.
“Congratulations, congratulations, congratulations! You don’t even know how happy I am! If those at the Pantelimon Hospital also had a clinical pharmacist, some were not allowed to prescribe and administer Noradrenaline at willoff label, mammoth dose or sudden interruption of administration and without continuing with the 2nd line of vasopressor. The Clinical Pharmacist would have prohibited exceeding the provisions of the RCP of the drug, as approved by the EMA and ANDMN, as it resulted from the clinical studies undertaken by the drug manufacturer.”, commented Vasile Barbu on Dr. Beatrice Mahler’s post.
