In one such case, a woman asked for a tub full of Evian still water to use in her child’s evening routine.

Another tourist had an even more outrageous request, asking the hotel where he was staying to prepare a personalized allergen-free menu for his pet, reports CNN.

Among these stories are also those about the absurd requests made by tourists, some asking room service to bring them a toasted and burnt whole loaf, fresh goat’s milk or 2 kilos of bananas.

And finally, one tourist asked the staff to clap with him when they brought his order to make sure his room service request was read in full.

Tourists behaving inappropriately

A tourist broke National Park Service rules and dumped a bag of fluff into a cave in New Mexico. It caused a “worldwide change” in Carlsbad Caverns’ fragile microbial ecosystem.

In Hawaii, the Haiku Stairs on the island of Oahu have been closed since 1987, but people still risk their lives to visit them. Fourteen people were recently arrested for climbing the 4,000 steps, which are prohibited not only because of danger to visitors, but also to protect natural resources.

Another tourist who caused the diversion of an Australian flight last year was forced to pay more than $5,000 for fuel.
