The former SOS deputy, Alexandrin Moiseev announced on Facebook that he will not support the PSD-AUR censure motion, which he describes as being directed against “the most competent prime minister that Romania has had since the Revolution until now”. Moiseev left Diana Sosoacă’s formation in 2025, initially choosing to continue his work as an independent, but soon after, he joined the PSD group in the Chamber of Deputies.
In a message published on Facebook, Moiseev expresses his support for the current prime minister and argues the decision by the need for political stability in the regional context.
“I have no way to vote the motion of censure against the most competent prime minister that Romania has had since the Revolution until now. It would be a slap in the face to Bessarabia, to which I am spiritually connected and which looks towards Romania with confidence. It would be a slap in the face to Ukraine, with which I have a sincere friendship and which needs stability in the region.”writes Alexandrin Moiseev on Facebook.
The deputy states that he will not support political initiatives that he considers risky for the stability of the country.
“I will not endorse, with my vote, risky political constructions”he specifies, adding that the prime minister must “left to complete his term”.
He also emphasizes that Romania needs political continuity and the maintenance of the pro-European direction, especially in the context of the current regional situation.
