Two French mathematicians claim to have the proof of God’s existence, based on science

A new book written by two French mathematicians claims that it provides a definitive answer to the biggest question related to God’s existence.

Science was traditionally the counterargument of the existence of a divine creator, but the authors of the volume God, The Science, The Evidence: The Dawn of a Revolution (God, science, evidence: the dawn of a revolution), to be launched in the UK and the US, states that reason and science now provide the proof of God’s existence, writes the Daily Mail.

Olivier Bonnassies, 59, established in Western London, and Michel-Yves Boloré, 79, from Paris, both mathematicians and entrepreneurs, first published the book in 2021, and have sold 400,000 children and have been translated into several languages.

The two are also religious people: Boloré, an engineer in computer science, is a Catholic birth, while his co-author has found his Christian faith around the age of 20.

Bonnassies, who lives in Paris, claims that “Science is now the ally of God ” and that, far from giving reasons to reject the existence of a deity, “The pendulum of science has oscillated in the opposite direction.”

In an interview with Publishers Weekly magazine, the researcher explained the reasoning behind the volume of 580 pages: “Our work is based on three scientific conclusions: that we live in a space that inextricably binds the matter, space and time; that all seem to have a beginning; and that the parameters of the universe are so finely adjusted that if you a little modified, life would become impossible.”

The two even managed to convince other important voices in the world of science that it could be interwoven with religion.

Physicist Robert Wilson said the idea of a creator’s existence “It does not offer a satisfactory explanation for me”but he agreed to write the preface to the book.

He notes: “Although the general thesis … according to which a superior mind could be at the origin of the universe does not give me a satisfactory explanation, they can accept its coherence. If the universe had a beginning, then we cannot avoid the question of creation.”

Scientists generally agree that the universe was born following the Big Bang, the theory that describes the beginnings and evolution of the universe, which happened about 14 billion years ago.

In 1920, Edwin Hubble noticed that the distance between galaxies increases everywhere in the universe – which means that, in the past, galaxies were closer to each other.

While some Christians believe that the Big Bang needed a divine creator to occur, many academics rejected this idea, including physicist Stephen Hawking.

The famous English physicist claimed that the Big Bang was inevitable because of the law of gravity, contradicting Isaac Newton’s faith that the universe must have been created by God because it could not have appeared from chaos.

Earlier this year, a survey showed that teenagers and young people up to 20 are twice as much prone to identify as their parents.

People between the ages of 18 and 24-all of the Z generation-were the most spiritual age group in the United Kingdom, only 13% declaring themselves atheists. Another 62% describe itself as “very” or “Quite” Spiritual, according to the research conducted by OnePoll.
