Ryanair’s reaction was not long in coming, stating that the passenger should have been more careful when booking. In a video that went viral, Ryanair asked: “No one?”, then introduced the seat selection feature on their website, which clearly shows whether or not a seat has a window, including the infamous airplane seat, 11A.
Why seat 11A has no window
The airline included a playful note in the post’s description: “Maybe you should look next time.” They stated that seat 11A does not have a window due to the requirements of the Boeing 737’s air conditioning system.

Flightradar24 explained that modern airplanes use two “packages” located close to the main landing gear to control cabin air and temperature, and the duct near seat 11A requires the absence of a window.
Netizens poked fun at the video, adding comments pointing out that the lack of windows in row 11 is a well-known fact. One user stated: “People don’t read,” while someone else commented: “Imagine you’re scrolling through Instagram and you find yourself being blown away by Ryanair.”
Someone else wrote: “Whoever handles Ryanair’s Instagram account deserves a raise.”
