Vlad Gheorghe announces that he will run for the parliamentary elections
Former MEP Vlad Gheorghe announced on Facebook that he will run for a parliamentary seat in the elections of December 1, 2024. He says that the fight continues, in the context in which he received the vote of 221,630 people in the June elections.
“Let’s start! We continue the fight! They counted 221,630 votes, and I know for sure that there were more of you, much more. I respect your involvement and trust! As I promised you, I want to fight to make your votes really count, every time. Today I take a step forward and start on a new path, but still with you. I come to the country, among you, in search of allies. I want us to join forces: independents, new parties, intellectuals, NGOs, people who have something to say in their communities and have already done so or want to start now. I know that you are disappointed by the classical parties, their empty promises and the corruption that seems to have taken over the entire Romanian politics. But disappointment without a healthy alternative is for nothing. That’s why I think it’s time to give voice to a new generation of leaders, who put values and the common good before personal interests”wrote Vlad Gheorghe, on Facebook.
