And Edward Iordănescu really progressed with the Romanian national team. Because the beginning of his tenure was catastrophic, with a relegation to League C of the nations. But then, gradually, the ascent began which has now brought us to a match in the round of 16 of Euro 2024: Romania – Holland (July 2, 7 p.m., Pro TV).
In preparation for this duel, from Munich, the selector, a good psychologist, made the decision to give the players the opportunity to relax. Just as it happened before the match with Slovakia (1-1), when the Romanian internationals spent a few hours in the company of their loved ones, leaving the strict training camp schedule.
