The moment when Klaus Iohannis arrives at the summit organized in Hungary and gets out of the car, turning his back to the Hungarian Prime Minister, Viktor Orban, went viral on social networks and created numerous reactions from those who saw it.
While some categorize his gesture as a blunder and a lack of diplomacy, especially the media from Hungary, others are enthusiastic and say that this is the way the Hungarian official should be treated, for the way he has permanently opposed the European Union’s initiatives to to support Ukraine, but also for the close relations he continued to have with Russia.
Of course, most of those who admire the attitude of Klaus Iohannis are Ukrainians and their supporters, according to Antena3.

After Roman Sheremeta, a professor from the University of Kyiv, posted the video of the President of Romania and the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban, accompanied by the message “This is how any dictator should be treated”it enjoyed a lot of appreciation and started to be distributed from several accounts of Ukrainian citizens.

And German users appreciate the attitude of Klaus Iohannis.
“The President of Romania treats Orban as he should”wrote Jürgen Nauditt, a German supporter of Ukraine.
All these comments come while the Hungarian press harshly criticized the President of Romania, who, it is appreciated, showed a lack of diplomacy.
“Klaus Iohannis got out of the car as if Orban didn’t exist. Instead of a glance or a handshake, he immediately turned his back and started talking to someone from his own staff.” wrote the publication szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu.
Even the Hungarian police had an intervention to clarify the speculations regarding the fact that the Romanian president would have been angry for the fact that he arrived late to the summit, stating that he “wasn’t walked unnecessarily” around the city, but there were respected the rules provided by the protocol.
