Real estate properties are increasingly expensive in Romania, but this does not stop the wealthy to build areas that billionaires and great noble families in Western Europe would be envious. Lately, however, more and more Romanians are reoriented to other countries, and have recently started discovering paradisiacus where houses cost much less than here.

Vlogger Cosmin Avram discovered Thailand, a paradise that although apparently is at the end of the world, attracts by low prices and dream landscapes. In Thailand, he discovered a Romanian established for a long time here and served as a guide. He said that he first arrived in Thailand as a tourist, but ended up falling in love with this country and those here, which is why he moved permanently 15 years ago.
“I got the morning at the time that the tourists came, and I was on the counter and I did not come to believe how much the world can be here. I felt it is an opportunity in time, not even then. Then I fell in love with the style of people, style that we have no. Thailand in translation is the land of smiles“, The man said.
Cheaper in Thailand as at Mamaia
A holiday in Thailand is cheaper, he says, than one on the Romanian coast, in Mamaia. That although the plane crosses half a world to there.
“The locations are beautiful, I mean the more affordable locations, because, unfortunately, it is often cheaper to make a holiday in Thailand than in Mamaia, than in Constanta. Without discussion, the world asks me what would be my monthly budget, how much you spend. It closes the door.“He adds.
A house rented with all the facilities and all the expenses included should not exceed the equivalent of $ 200, he says. “I can tell you that an apartment taken from their sites can reach $ 200 ”, he says. Modern yard houses are sold with prices starting from 70,000-80,000 euros.
The only fees are 7% VAT and on cars
But Thailand is not only a beautiful country, but it is as safe as possible. “I don’t have a picture from my house, but I don’t have a lock at the door”, he claims. Banks interest are tiny compared to those practiced in Romania. “If I will tell someone that interest in a car is 0.92%, this is interest, 0.92% honest”points out the Romanian.
What does not exist in Thailand? There is no Romanian food, he says. So when he receives guests from Romania, he is very happy if he receives Sibiu Salam, Suica, Eugeni and chocolate with rum. Instead, he does not miss the taxes and taxes in Romania. In Thailand, he says, taxation does not press people like a yoke, as is happening in a country like Romania. Obviously, fees in Thailand are infinitely lower and fewer than in Romania, just as food and first need are at unbeatable prices.
“From my money and my work to pay about 50-62% to the state? Here you pay only 7% VAT. I have no house tax, I only have cars. It is an annual government fee that at the most expensive car is somewhere at $ 28-30 a year. In that government fee the road enters, parking, are all there“He explains.
