FCSB came away with a dramatic 4-3 win over Feyenoord in a crazy Europa League main stage 6th leg match. The Romanian champion scored through Ngezana, Toma, Thiam and Tănase.
After this impressive comeback, Mihai Stoica reacted to the first moments of the morning, saying that it is, in his opinion, the most spectacular comeback in Romanian football. He also wanted to thank the fans from Peluza Nord, who supported the team throughout the game.
“We thank Peluza Nord and all those who chose to be at the National Arena to witness the BEST COMEBACKS IN THE HISTORY OF ROMANIAN FOOTBALL!”Stoica wrote on Facebook.
“Let’s keep singing, we’re not supporters of the result!”
In front of over 22,000 people, FCSB delivered an intense match rarely seen in European competitions. Although they went through complicated moments and were led 3-1, Elias Charalambous’ team found the resources to turn the result around.
The North Lawn fans stuck with the team throughout the match, singing non-stop even when the situation seemed out of control. In the end, the FCSB players rewarded the fans’ devotion with a memorable comeback and a truly special evening for everyone in the stadium.
On the other hand, the Dutch supporters created a disaster in the Capital, after the failure with the red-blues. They broke bottles and set fire to an awning in the Old Center, being assaulted by the authorities.
