Răzvan Dumitrescu leaves Antena 3 CNN after 16 years: “I remain in the media and I will always be with you, but in a different way”

Journalist Răzvan Dumitrescu announced, live, that he is leaving Antena 3 CNN, after 16 years spent at the television station. The announcement was made at the end of the show “Subjective”, edition that also marked the end of his collaboration with the station.

“For 16 years, I’ve been making shows on Antena 3, then on Antena 3 CNN. It’s been 16 intense years, connected non-stop to the events we’ve experienced together. (…) Today was not only the last edition of the “Subjective” show, but, at the same time, also the last show I made on Antena 3 CNN”declared Răzvan Dumitrescu.

The journalist thanked his colleagues, guests and viewers for their trust over the years and stated that he is not retiring from the media.

“I remain in the press and will always be with you, but in a different way. You will know the details soon,” he transmitted.

Before the announcement made live, Dumitrescu let it be understood, through a post on Facebook, that an important change is coming in his career, notes DC News.

Răzvan Dumitrescu is one of the best-known television journalists in Romania. An electronics engineer by profession, he arrived in television in the early 90s, after taking a voice test at TV SOTI. Throughout his career he worked for publications and media institutions such as Flacăra, Curentul, Lumea Magazin, Mediafax, PRO FM, TVR, B1 TV and Realitatea TV.

Also, together with the political analyst Bogdan Chirieac, he founded the news platform DC News, where he currently produces the show “What’s going on.”

His departure from Antena 3 CNN ends a collaboration that began 16 years ago, but the journalist has hinted that he will continue to be active in the media space and that he will soon announce his next project.
