Almost eight months after the death of Felix Baumgartner, Mihaela Rădulescu continues to keep his memory alive. The star has published an emotional new message about her former partner, who she described as “a good friend to many”, a sign of the special bond that united them for 12 years.
The pain of losing the famous Austrian sportsman, who disappeared in the summer of 2025 at the age of 56, is amplified by other difficult trials that the former TV presenter went through, including the death of her mother. In addition, Mihaela Rădulescu was outraged by the way she was treated after Baumgartner’s death, revealing that his personal items were returned to her “like trash” and that his family opened a lawsuit against him.
Marked by all these events, the former host of the show “Farm of the Stars” continues to dedicate messages to the one he loved for more than a decade.
“One of the best parts of life is the TRUE friends we make along the way. Felix was a good friend to many, far more than some were good friends to him!”, noted Mihaela Rădulescu, on Instagram.
Felix Baumgartner truly loved his friends
In the continuation of her speech, the former moderator mentioned the name of one of the most reliable friends that Felix had, Wade Eastwood, also a stuntman from South Africa.
In the message full of emotion, Mihaela Rădulescu also paid tribute to him on the occasion of his birthday. The star recalled meeting him for the first time at Goodwood, a place he considers special and to which he has returned numerous times over the years. It was also then that he realized how many passions and values the two men shared.
“It happens to a lot of celebrities or people with more money than others. And that’s something you can really understand when you lose someone so close and dear that you knew all the stories about their friends, who they really loved and to whom they were just ‘another friend.’
“Everything I was planning about future adventures…”
The friends Felix valued most were not those he could just have dinner with, but those who could teach him something, who could inspire him, who could help him grow. From flying helicopters to paragliding, racing and everything in between. I had the same excitement meeting Sam, his wife, a cool, funny, down-to-earth and oh-so-beautiful woman. From there, we made plans and met again in England, stayed in their house.
They flew over our heads on Beachy Head, we went to the Dunes of Pilat together, we stayed in the same house. Everything I planned about future adventures had to be checked with Wade first. Felix loved it with all his heart and we probably would have already been on another paragliding trip with them, having a great time as we always did. Dear… Wade Eastwood Happy Birthday from me and Felix up there. Thank you for making him so happy, thank you for your friendship from the very beginning, including now. A big hug to you and Sam. Forever in my heart, where Felix will live forever too. Good luck, my friend!“, concluded Mihaela Rădulescu.
