The Ministry of Education has published the subjects and scales of the third written test at the Baccalaureate. Most high school graduates have completed the series of written tests in the June-July session. This session was marked by an unexpected postponement: the mandatory profile test, originally scheduled for Tuesday, June 30, was rescheduled for Wednesday, July 1, due to the heat code red affecting the entire country.

The next crucial stage for candidates is the display of initial results, scheduled for Tuesday 7 July by 12:00. On the same day, between 14:00 and 18:00, the window opens for viewing the works and submitting appeals, a process that continues on July 8 and 9. The Ministry of Education has established that viewing the works is strictly informative and does not involve their correction. Minor candidates must be accompanied by a parent or legal representative at the time of viewing. Submission of appeals is not conditional on viewing the papers, and viewing does not oblige the candidate to submit the appeal.

The appeals submitted by the candidates will be resolved between July 9-10, and the final results of the 2026 Baccalaureate exam will be published on July 13. The communication of the results, regardless of the stage, is done anonymously, using the individual codes that replace the names and surnames of the candidates, according to the legal provisions on the protection of personal data.
To be declared “successful”, a high school graduate must cumulatively meet three essential conditions. First, they must pass all language and digital skills assessment tests, which took place between June 8 and 17. Second, they must pass all written tests and obtain at least a 5 in each of them. Finally, they must obtain at least an average of 6 in the written tests, the average being calculated as the arithmetic mean of the grades obtained in the four written tests – for students who also take the test in their mother tongue – or in the three tests, for the other candidates. Candidates who do not meet these requirements are declared “rejected” and can participate in the second Baccalaureate session, scheduled between July and August 2026.
In order to support the smooth conduct of the exam, the Ministry of Education and Research makes available to candidates and parents the TELVERDE line 0800801100, intended for reporting any malfunctions regarding the organization and conduct of the exam. On the days of the written tests, the line is open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with the exception of Friday 3 July, when the operating hours were from 8:00am to 2:00pm. This measure provides an official channel of communication for any logistics or compliance issues, thus ensuring a transparent and fair process for all applicants.
