The new MasterChef Romania season starts on September 7, and the producers promise a more spectacular competition than ever. Before the debut, some of the chefs and competitors participated, on Thursday morning, in the launch event of the show.
Cătălin Scarlătescu drew attention to the event after he came accompanied by his girlfriend, Elena. The chef has preferred in recent years to keep his personal life discreet, but this time he appeared on the arm of his partner, according to Click!

Cătălin Scarlătescu admitted that he is going through a very good period on a personal level and that he does not intend to remain a bachelor.
“I like beautiful women! It’s obvious I’m not going to be a bachelor!”declared the chef.
His girlfriend, Elena, is 27 years old, she is an architect and professor at the “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism.
The chef also talked about the new season of MasterChef and one of the most difficult tests in the competition. For the first time in a culinary show in Romania, 120 competitors will cook simultaneously, in a test of proportions.
“It’s going to be incredible! I’ve never seen 120 people cook for us all at once! It’s the best edition yet! You’ll see: the competition is fierce. It was very difficult to judge!”, said Scarlatescu.
