The two partners in the UK have for several years their own YouTube channel, entitled Two Brits on the Go, with over 5,500 subscribers.
And their impressions in Romania, which they say is an underestimated country, with a great tourist potential, have been very good. Sarah and Callum want to return to our country in the coming years and visit Moldova.
“We can not believe what extraordinary and varied architecture Romania has. We have discovered many very interesting places. We had not heard of Sibiu before we come here, but now we recommend it with all the heart of any tourist who wants to visit Romania. It is incredible that such a small city will have such a superb architecture. Many castles!says Sarah.
“Go by car through Bucharest is a terrifying experience”
Callum, his husband, had criticism of the price of coffee in Romania, at the opposite pole being delighted by our traditional culinary preparations. And the mountain areas represented for the two British an unforgettable experience.
“Romanians have a cult for coffee. But in many terraces and restaurants in Romania, coffee is more expensive than beer, which is strange, we did not expect it, left us a mask. The cheapest coffee we drank in Romania cost 15 lei. Fantastic in the Carpathian Mountains and the fact that I have caught snow.Callum said in the shooting posted on YouTube, a filming that already has almost 22,000 views.
Sarah and Callum were negatively surprised by the road agglomeration in Bucharest and the traffic chaos.
“Going by car through Bucharest is a terrifying experience. It is extremely crowded. Instead, to drive outside the capital is very pleasant. The accommodations in Romania are extremely good, no matter what area you go”says Sarah.
From Romania, the family of British tourists left for Turkey and Georgia.
