The full list of complaints received on the correct vote platform is available at https://votcorect.ro/prezidential-2025/Sesizari/. Correct coalition organizations monitor the electoral process with almost 1300 independent observers, in the country and abroad (starting on Friday, May 16).

“Most notifications received from voters through the Votcorect.ro portal are related to posting photos with ballots with the marked electoral option and some organizational problems in the polling stations. Numerous posts have been reported on the TIK Tok network marked for one of the candidates – through the Votcorect.ro portal, over 500, You can consult them here and here. the legislation ”say the representatives of the correct vote.

Through the votcorect call-center over 150 calls were received until 13.00, from observers and voters. The most common questions are related to the polling procedure, including special ballot box.

The correct vote observers followed the opening procedure in almost 500 polling stations in the country and abroad, including in advance votes, and evaluated it positively in over 99% of cases. None of the sections observed was opened late. The observers noted that in a few cases the ballot box had been sealed the night before; Even if they were allowed to ensure that it is empty before the voting begins, the correct procedure would have been to seal in front of all those present at the opening.

Some observers were not allowed access to sections

The voting was observed until Sunday, May 18 at 12:00 in about 800 sections, of which over 98% were evaluated positively by observers. The observers signaled the tense atmosphere near the polling stations in 2.3% of the cases and in the polling stations in 3.8%. At 13.2% of the visited sections was crowded. Observers noted that some people expressed support for a candidate around 1% of the visited sections.

The observers were well received in the vast majority of the sections, but in 2% of the cases they could not observe the voting without restrictions. Almost a quarter of the observed sections were not accessible to people with disabilities. The correct vote observers met observers accredited by other organizations in 22% of the observed sections.

Some observers reported that they were not allowed access to the sections by the section presidents who abusively requested to present the decision to accredit the association or even children after the identity document. According to the law, the observers must be allowed access in the section based on the observer’s badge and the identity card. In Section 652 of Sector 3 Bucharest, the section president did not want to allow the observer preventive access, so as not to create stress and tension.

In addition, several observers reported that the law enforcement forces ensuring the polling stations legitimized them at the entrance to the section in Brasov, Ialomița or Bucharest. Moreover, their identity documents were photographed by the law enforcement or their personal data were noted.

“We consider this procedure for legitimizing the observers excessively, and photography of identity documents can create a risk for their personal data safety.”say the representatives of the correct vote coalition.

In Section 182 of Azuga, the representative may have made a request to revive the votes this morning. The president of the section rejected the request as unfounded.
