The world of tennis regrets the loss of Juan Aguilera. The former tennis player died at the age of 63, in Barcelona. The Spaniard reached the highest level of career, number 7, in September 1984.
Slag specialist player, known for his reverb, has won five career titles. The first success came to the Aix-en-Provence Open, in the same year in which it became the world number 7.
Sensational tour at Hamburg
After a period of crisis that took him beyond position 300 in the ATP standings, in 1988, Aguilera regained her competitiveness. The following year, he won a title again, the one from Bari.
In 1990, Aguilera won the title in Nice and won, again, in Hamburg (a triumph she had obtained six years ago), in an edition that was incredible for him.
