Sorin Grindeanu accuses the “power parliamentarians” of not submitting any draft law regarding the PNRR arrears: “Go, Bolo!”

“Parliamentarians in power have not submitted ANY draft law regarding the arrears from the PNRR. How can an extraordinary session be convened if we have no draft submitted?! As the deposed Government can no longer submit initiatives to Parliament, it was the duty of the elected PNL and USR to do so. They did not do it”wrote Sorin Grindeanu on his Facebook page.

He reminded that, in the Chamber of Deputies, four laws were already passed on the last day of the parliamentary session, accusing at the same time that the Senate led by the right “slept on it and failed two other projects”.

“Bolojenist propaganda will drive the algorithm crazy again, but what exactly is blocking the PSD if the dismissed prime minister, Pâslaru and all their henchmen failed to complete any of the outstanding projects?! Meanwhile, the INS informs us that the average salary DECREASES from one month to the next, while inflation is over 10%. Go, Bolo!”concluded Sorin Grindeanu.

Grindeanu’s attack comes in the context in which the interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan declared at the beginning of July that he will request the leadership of the two Chambers to convene the Parliament in an extraordinary session in the second half of July to debate and adopt the laws necessary to collect the amounts related to PNRR.

We remind you that PSD announced on Tuesday, July 14, that it will not vote on bills that only serve party interests, without any connection to the national interest, in the name of “saving European money” from PNRR or SAFE.

“It is up to the Government to find its majority in order to pass its projects through Parliament. And if it needs the PSD vote, it will have to accept the conditions set by the PSD to protect the national interests and the Romanian citizens”the Social Democratic Party sent in a statement.
