The vigil will take place on Thursday, December 4, starting at 3 p.m., at the chapel of the Descent of the Holy Spirit Titan Church (in Alexandru Ioan Cuza park)”. the family said on Wednesday.

Artan died on Tuesday, December 2, at the “Saint Pantelimon” Hospital in the capital. He was 64 years old.
Adrian Pleșca started feeling sick the same day, when he was at home, according to ProTV News.
The wife is the one who would have called the ambulance. Adrian Pleșca was transported to “St. Pantelimon” hospital. The artist would have gone into cardio-respiratory arrest immediately after arriving at the emergency room.
The doctors tried to revive him for almost an hour, but unfortunately they could not save him.
The autopsy, which will determine the cause of death, will be performed on Wednesday, December 3.
He founded the bands Timpuri Noi and Partizan
We remind you that the artist was born in 1961 in Bucharest and became one of the most prominent figures of Romanian rock, especially as the leader of the band Timpuri Noi, founded in 1981.
She received the nickname “Artan” when she was 7 years old, from an older neighbor, and it stayed with her all her life. He grew up in the Titan neighborhood, where he spent a lot of time in the park.
At Politehnica Bucharest (Metallurgy), where he studied, he had big problems with school because of the band Timpuri Noi. He spent up to 12 hours a day rehearsing, and this made him a three-time repeater. However, in the end he managed to finish his studies, mainly through work and less through “spun exams”as he used to say with self-irony.
In the 80s, Timpuri Noi was a non-conformist band with bold lyrics, and the shows at Club A were energetic and popular with the audience.
Artan also sang for two decades in the Radio Choir (1990–2011).
In 2009, Artan left the group and then formed the band Partizan. In 2019, Partizan announced the separation from Adrian Pleșca, without giving a reason.

Artan then announced the concert scheduled for the next day, on November 28, at Cafe Piața Amzei.
Lately, the artist was facing a scandal. Artan was accused by the mother of a teenage girl of persistently stalking an 18-year-old girl and trying to forcefully kiss her. The authorities announced that they have started investigations into the alleged incident of harassment
In the statement sent in October by the General Directorate of Police of the Municipality of Bucharest, it is stated that “at this time, no criminal complaint has been filed and there is no direct notification from individuals involved”.
Artan admitted he was wrong and said he regrets the incident, noting that he sometimes goes through episodes he can’t control due to medical issues.
