More and more Romanians are choosing the Bulgarian coast over Romania, and most of them are bothered by the prices and the conditions here. Bulgarians know how to promote themselves and avoid pulling the skin off tourists, aware that in this way they would lose them for good.

A Romanian who spends his vacation in Bulgaria posted on one of the Facebook groups promoting the Romanian coast what prices our neighbors in the South have. “Varna – 6 leva for the deckchair, 6 leva for the umbrella, one leva for the mattress. I also saw it with 5 leva. 13 leva means 33 lei. Maybe the hosts on the Romanian coast will also learn that tourism does not mean sleeping“, he wrote.
In a short time, the reactions appeared, among the most diverse. “Stop revealing these things, all the retards will come screeching”, someone commented. “Who will teach them? I’ve been without a salary for 8 months, shouldn’t I be compensated somehow?“, wrote another.
Much higher prices on the Romanian coast
“In Romania it costs from 70 lei upwards for a deck chair, and in Mamaia I saw it at 120 and 150. There is a lot of insensitivity here, unfortunately,” someone else commented. “150 lei sunbed / day at Novumbythesea… in Olimp“, added another netizen. “In Romania, on some beaches, it also costs a place on a sheet, and not a little. On a private beach in Mamaia it was 200 lei per day,” added one. “Now on Golden Beach Thasos, 10 euros a set of two sunbeds and an umbrella,” was another piece of information.
“Vama Veche – during the week, the deckchair with umbrella is 30 lei – 2 deckchairs 60 lei“, wrote a lady. “In Greece, I didn’t pay anything for the sunbed, only consumption. And no one scolded us that we also had from us”another added.
“They will learn nothing! Japca is not done discreetly. It is done with the tacit consent of the authorities. It’s just that those who complain, they all contribute to the parties so they won’t be disturbed. Rromanistan, the village without dogs! Everyone does what they want, as long as it’s right‘!”, someone protested.
“Standing at the beach on a towel is the only effective protest”
Another protester came up with an original protest idea. “Standing at the beach on a towel is the only effective protest. It’s no use complaining that it’s expensive if you still pay. In 2016 I went to Barcelona, I was amazed by how much “sarakie” there was. Most of them were sitting on the towel, from that beach I could see the yachts of the millionaires on the left and the W hotel on the right, some distance away of course, but I was “pi centru”he wrote.
“And now they’re still the same, the same in Miami, they don’t have money for sunbeds! With us it’s more on the barosaneala’!” commented another. “If you tell a Romanian that you went to the beach and sat on a sheet or towel, he looks at you for a long time and then ignores you”was another comment.
“No one puts their hands in the pockets of those who flock to the Romanian coast. Those who choose our coast are wrong and accept mockery and theft. Bulgarians are known to have lower prices, facilities on the beach with much lower prices or even free, much cleaner everywhere and what is very important better services, the staff are more professional, kinder and know how to make you feel good Unfortunately, we have thieves, all of them out for robbery, insensitivity and disinterest in the customer, and I say this because for over 20 years I have been to the sea with us every year, for 2-3 weeks and everything was super good. I even did a few training camps on the seaside as an athlete… The mafia that controls tourism on the seaside, hand in hand with the criminal politicians who cover them, has only destroyed the seaside and tourism in general. And the Customs is equally destroyed, only the name remains of it”wrote another.
