The results of the 2026 Baccalaureate exam will be published on Tuesday, July 7, by 12:00. Students can only apply to view work on July 7, before deciding whether or not to appeal.

According to the Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian, until now, the evaluation stage of the papers for the Baccalaureate exam is as follows: for the Romanian Language and Literature test, the process is completed in proportion to 100%, while for Mathematics / History it has reached 99.9% (with only 208 evaluations remaining). The optional sample was evaluated in proportion of 99.2% (1980 papers remaining), and in Mother Language and Literature the percentage is 78.1% (with 3176 evaluations remaining).
Regarding the evaluation stage of appeals from the National Assessment, the data indicate a progress of 90.5% in Romanian Language and Literature (1809 evaluations remaining), 90.7% in Mathematics (910 evaluations remaining) and an almost complete completion in Mother Language and Literature, where a percentage of 98.5% was reached (only 10 papers remain to be evaluated).
On July 3, the last test of the Baccalaureate exam ended, which this year was under the sign of tropical heat. For the most part, the school infrastructure failed to cope with the extreme temperature wave, and the high temperatures even led to extreme, unprecedented measures by the Ministry of Education.
After the first written test in the Romanian language took place in an infernal heat, the Ministry of Education decided to postpone the mandatory profile test by 24 hours.
The decision was taken in the context of a Code Red warning for heatwave after the large number of candidates made the air in many examination halls unbreathable. So instead of June 30, as planned, the mandatory profile test took place on July 1, and the optional one on Thursday, July 2. The last test, the one for Mother Tongue, took place on Friday, July 3.
