“Adevărul” will publish here the topics that the candidates receive in the Romanian language and literature – EA), the first written test of the 2025 baccalaureate. The time allocated to solving the requirements is three hours, calculated from the moment the distribution of the topics in the examination room has been concluded.

The National Center for Curriculum and Evaluation will publish the topics and the correction scale for each written test, daily, at 3:00 pm, on the Subject.edu.ro website.

The Ministry of Education and Research has published during the school year 2024-2025 training topics for students from the last year of high school. Such simulations of the written tests were also organized, both with topics at national level and with topics proposed at county level.

The structure of the test – Romanian language and literature

Sample ea) is structured into three topics, each evaluating different skills:

  1. Subject I – thing with a text at first sight, which can be narrative, descriptive, explanatory or argumentative. Students must answer questions of understanding of the text, vocabulary, meanings and structure.
  2. Subject II – writing an argumentative text on a topical topic or related to the student’s personal experience. Usually, the theme concerns the importance of a cultural, social or educational subject, and students must clearly and coherently argue their point of view, using concrete examples and references from personal experience or from the knowledge accumulated during studies.
  3. Subject III – writing a literary essay, in which students must analyze a studied literary work, characterize a character or discuss literary themes and techniques. The literary essay emphasizes the student’s ability to argue on the basis of solid literary knowledge, to analyze the structure of a work and to discuss the topics, characters and literary techniques.

Candidates may seek to view works after displaying results

After displaying the results, the students will be able to request the view of the works, later deciding whether or not they will file an appeal. The visualization of the work, the representatives of the MEC also specify, does not oblige the candidates to file an appeal, how also the appeal can be made even if the work has not been requested.

The evaluation of the works will be carried out in the digital system, for the second year in a row, the works being scanned at the end of the test, in the presence of the candidate, to be randomly distributed to two teachers in the country, outside the county where the candidate takes the exam.

The evaluating teachers will correct in examination centers, organized at the level of each county.

At the written tests of the 2025 baccalaureate exam, about 108,000 candidates are expected, over 94,400 being from the current promotion. The exam is organized in 447 exam centers.
