Photo Dan Dinu announces the premiere date for “Wild Delta”. Who is the voice of the main character in the sequel to the hit “Wild Romania”

The photographer and documentarian Dan Dinu, known for his projects dedicated to nature and for his collaborations with publications such as National Geographic, announced that the documentary film “Wild Delta” has reached an essential moment: the final editing has been completed after almost five years of work.

In an emotional post published online, the author says that the project meant much more than just filming in the Danube Delta. For him, the film’s story was built from the ground up, in every frame and at every stage of production.

Today is a big day. After almost 5 years of work, the film Wild Delta has finished editing“, wrote Dan Dinu, confessing that all this time he was constantly thinking about the message and emotion he wants to convey to the public.

The documentary was made together with an extensive team of collaborators. Cosmin Dumitrache took care of the filming, and the script was built and rewritten together with Codruța Florea. The production also benefited from the support of the guides from Discover the Danube Delta, who accompanied the team in their explorations through the Danube Delta.

The film will also have a major sound component. Actress Medea Marinescu is the voice of the main character, and the soundtrack was composed by Alexei Turcan, whom Dan Dinu says created “fabulous music“. In addition, the filmmaker announced that the final track will be performed by “a very nice person”whose name has not yet been revealed.

Although editing is complete, the team still has a few important steps to complete before release: music mixing, sound design and colorization of the film.

The premiere of the documentary will take place on June 5, during the LYNX Festival, an event where Dan Dinu says he is waiting for the viewers along with the entire team behind the “Wild Romania” project.

Dan Dinu is known especially for his involvement in the project “Salvatic Romania”, one of the most appreciated Romanian documentaries dedicated to nature. The film, released after years of filming in all regions of the country, presents Romania’s spectacular fauna, landscapes and ecosystems and was a major success both in cinemas and in film festivals and events dedicated to the environment. The documentary quickly became a benchmark for Romanian productions of this type and contributed to the popularization of the idea of ​​nature conservation among the general public.

In parallel, Dan Dinu carried out numerous photographic projects and documentary expeditions in the Danube Delta, the Carpathian Mountains and other natural areas in Romania. His images have been published in albums, magazines and exhibitions, being appreciated for their cinematic style and emphasis on the relationship between man and nature.

With the film “Wild Romania”, Dan Dinu became a nature documentary film director and producer. The films made were accepted at numerous specialty festivals and won important prizes. Together with Cosmin Dumitrache, he collaborated on productions that were broadcast by the BBC, Nat Geo Wild or HBO Europe.

Since the establishment of the Wild Romania project in 2010, Dan Dinu coordinates its entire activity and continues to photograph or film Romania’s nature with the same passion.

He is also actively involved in the promotion of ecotourism and environmental education, participating in conferences, workshops and projects dedicated to the protection of natural heritage. In recent years, Dan Dinu has focused more and more on the production of documentary films, and his new project, Wild Delta, continues the direction started with “Wild Romania”, bringing to the fore one of the most spectacular and fragile natural areas in Europe.
