Road traffic on the Giurgiu-Ruse Friendship Bridge will be definitively restored starting Tuesday, June 30, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informed on Monday.

Circulation will be permanently restored, in both directions and for all types of vehicles, starting on June 30, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., as a result of the completion of the repair works, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in a statement.
